QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
-Master's degree in a human services field along with a background in child development, psychology, education or a related field.
- A minimum of 1 year full-time postgraduate experience in the provision of mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults
-Licensed in this Commonwealth as one (1) of the following:
- A physician practicing psychiatry, psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, certified registered nurse practitioner with a mental health certification, social worker or clinical social worker
- A behavior specialist and have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct service practicum
- A social worker and have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct service practicum
- A professional with a scope of practice that includes overseeing the provision of IBHS and have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct service practicum.

Beacon Light Behavioral Health System (BLBHS) and Beacon Light Adult Residential Services (BLARS).
Together they provide mental health services to adults, children and families in both community-based and residential settings. Individually, BLARS primarily provides residential programs for adults, while BLBHS provides community-based and residential programs for children, as well as community-based programs for adults.
