SUMMARY

Responsible for the clinical training and oversight of PRTF therapists in collaboration with the agency's Clinical Services Department and Vice President of Clinical Services. Provides clinical supervision for the PRTF therapists assists with the functions of the Crisis Management committee, provides review of clinical notes completed by the Program Managers. Provides therapist coverage within the PRTF programs during staff vacations and vacancies. Provides training, modeling and transfer of skills to PRTF staff on treatment plan, behavior plan, crisis and safety plan and restrictive procedure plans. Serves as chairperson of the agency's Trauma Informed Care Committee.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

-Master's degree in a human services field along with a background in child development, psychology, education or a related field.

- A minimum of 1 year full-time postgraduate experience in the provision of mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults

-Licensed in this Commonwealth as one (1) of the following:

- A physician practicing psychiatry, psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, certified registered nurse practitioner with a mental health certification, social worker or clinical social worker

- A behavior specialist and have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct service practicum

- A social worker and have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct service practicum

- A professional with a scope of practice that includes overseeing the provision of IBHS and have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct service practicum.
