SUMMARY

Responsible for providing additional support to the staff and leadership within the program. This individual assists in training new staff and in supporting the implementation of trauma informed principles and practices, including staff debriefing. This position is responsible for assisting leadership in monitoring staff morale and in implementing necessary trainings, meetings and practices within the program. This position is responsible for coaching and development of new staff through on the job training.

The Youngsville Specialty Residential program is a specialized service for youth with a mental health diagnosis and intellectual/developmental disabilities who require intensive treatment and family-centered services to achieve reintegration back to their family and community. Length of stay in YSR is intended to be shorter duration than the STRIDE programs.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Individual must have 5 years' experience in a residential setting, including MH-IDD experience
• Prior experience providing training required.
• Must be a certified SCM, Ukeru and CPR/First Aid instructor or become certified within 6 months following hire. Must be an agency driver or become one within 90 days of hire.
