Position Summary

The Direct Support Professional is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of residents, implementing individualized treatment plans, supporting activities of daily living, utilizing positive behavior supports, assisting with medication administration (when certified), maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary treatment team to promote recovery, independence, and successful reintegration into home and community settings. The Youngsville Specialty Residential program is a specialized service for youth with a mental health diagnosis and intellectual/developmental disabilities who require intensive treatment and family-centered services to achieve reintegration back to their family and community.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
