Summary of Position

We are seeking an individual , with excellent communication, conflict resolution, and time management skills to become a member of our team. Ideal candidates will strive to provide family-centered mental health services to youth and families in an effort to achieve reintegration of these youth back to their home and community. This is an onsite position, providing services to those with a mental health diagnosis and intellectual/developmental disabilities who require intensive treatment and are currently residing in our psychiatric residential treatment facility (STRIDE).

Education and/or Experience

• Must have a Master’s Degree in a Human Service related field
• License eligibility preferred. (LSW, LCSW, NCC, LPC, BCBA, LBS)
• Experience in different therapeutic modalities and techniques welcomed, however some of our commonly used techniques included Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, and Applied Behavioral Analysis.

Job Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. Listed below are a few summarized job responsibilities:

• Managing a caseload of clients for individual, family, and group therapy.
• Working with clients to help them develop the skills they need to work toward discharge and a healthier lifestyle.
• Participating as a member of and in coordination with the STRIDE Residential Treatment Team.
• Assessing client and family needs
• Creating and helping to implement treatment plans and treatment interventions for clients and families
• Educating clients and families regarding diagnosis, use of coping skills, implementation of treatment interventions, etc.
• Collaborating with internal and external team members including direct support professionals, county supports, providers, and insurance care managers.
