SUMMARY

The Residential Registered Nurse plays a central role in delivering comprehensive nursing and medical care in collaboration with the Treatment Team and the Director of Nursing. This position is responsible for conducting weekly health assessments, monitoring each resident's ongoing medical status, and administering medications while managing individualized treatment plans. The RN also obtains and documents vital signs, coordinates medical appointments and consultations with physical health providers and psychiatrists, and addresses the complex medical needs commonly seen within this population. In addition, the Residential Nurse works closely with interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic, integrated care that supports each resident's overall well-being.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Be a graduate of Accredited Professional Nursing Program.
  • Have a current, unrestricted RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
  • One year of prior experience or training preferred.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

This position gives preference to individuals with an active driver's license and a DMV check that is clear. Position may require travel in the local community or to assist with individuals attending required appointments or visits.
