Position Summary
The Residential Shift Supervisor provides leadership and oversight during assigned shifts, mentoring staff, monitoring resident safety, and ensuring compliance with agency policies and individualized treatment plans. The Shift Supervisor oversees behavioral interventions, documentation, medication administration (when certified), and direct resident support while collaborating with the interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure continuity of care. This position promotes a safe, supportive, trauma-informed, and recovery-focused environment where residents can develop the skills necessary for successful reintegration into their home communities. The First Street Residential Treatment Facility is a Joint Commission accredited home for adolescents, ages 12-18, in need of therapy to address mental health issues and behavioral concerns in a strengths-based environment in order to return to their home community.
Position Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Associates Degree or 60 credit hours plus three years of experience working with children (can be volunteer experience); or
- Bachelor's degree plus one year of experience working with children.
