Position Summary
The Residential Shift Supervisor provides leadership and oversight during assigned shifts, mentoring staff, monitoring resident safety, and ensuring compliance with agency policies and individualized treatment plans. The Shift Supervisor oversees behavioral interventions, documentation, medication administration (when certified), and direct resident support while collaborating with the interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure continuity of care. This position promotes a safe, supportive, trauma-informed, and recovery-focused environment where residents can develop the skills necessary for successful reintegration into their home communities. The Short Term Adolescent Recovery (STAR) program is a joint-commission accredited residential program for children ages 7 through 17 who are in crisis and are in need of immediate, short-term intervention away from their home environment.
Position Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Associate's Degree or 60 credit hours and three years experience working with children; OR
- Bachelors' Degree and one year experience working with children
