Summary

Beacon Light Behavioral Health System is looking for a Residential Shift Supervisor who is responsible for the management of the respective shift and the supervision of the individuals within that unit during that shift. Beacon Light offers a variety of residential programs. Some are long-term and others short-term, but all are designed to provide the highest levels of treatment individuals involved. Residential treatment is the most intensive of all Beacon Light programs, and our broad range of settings ensures we can place a child in an environment that gives them the best chance for positive outcomes.

Working with the individuals in a Residential Treatment Facility, you will assess his/her needs and tend to them accordingly with the goal of fostering a positive, encouraging environment and supporting individuals with social, emotional, and behavioral needs. You will assist individuals in becoming more integrated in their communities by maximizing their strengths, interests, and abilities.

Responsibilities also include daily living activities as needed, planning activities, supervision of individuals, documentation, passing medications, crisis management, planning therapeutic activities, etc. You will provide behavioral and therapeutic interventions under the supervision of a Master's level Therapist.

The Specialized Therapeutic Residence for Intellectual and Developmental Empowerment (STRIDE) program is a Joint Commission accredited residential program for children who have intensive needs requiring a longer length of stay in treatment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate's degree or 60 credit hours with +3 years of relevant experience. OR Bachelors' Degree +1 year of relevant experience.
