Position Summary
The STRIDE Residential Program Therapist provides clinical assessment, treatment planning, and individual, group, and family therapy within the Specialized Therapeutic Residence for Intellectual and Developmental Empowerment (STRIDE) program, a Joint Commission-accredited residential treatment program serving children and adolescents with complex behavioral health needs who require intensive, longer-term treatment. This role is responsible for conducting behavioral assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary treatment team to support positive treatment outcomes and successful community reintegration.
The Therapist plays a key role in evaluating treatment progress, providing behavioral consultation and clinical guidance to residential staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed behavioral health services. In addition to maintaining timely clinical documentation and participating in treatment planning, the Therapist works collaboratively with youth, families, caregivers, schools, and community providers to strengthen family engagement, promote recovery and skill development, and help residents successfully transition back to their home communities.
Position Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Must have a Master's Degree in a Human Service related field
- License eligible preferred. Such as Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), National Certified Counselor (NCC), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and/or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and/or Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS).
